Great local history of music. Loved it!
This book sizzles and has a little something for everybody! With stories of the history of Rock and Roll and the growth of the Northwest Music Sound as well as the evolution of Seattle and it's ever growing importance in the world, this book makes is a must read for baby boomers. A tough book to put down. Pat, it's time to get together with Cameron Crowe and do the movie!

Great book! Fun reading, particularily if you grew up in the 60's and 70's in the Seattle Washington area. Lots of "I didn't know that" information!
What a fun romp through rock-n-roll radio of the 60's with a giant of the Pacific Northwest music scene and pioneer of the concert promotion business. Pat O'Day shares amusing and heartfelt stories of the artists, the songs, the thrill of being a disk jockey and hosting teen dance parties at such legendary sites as the Spanish Castle. Pat jumps back and forth through time with his stories and recollections, making it less like a linear autobiography and more like a chat with an old friend. Truly a great read for anyone interested in rock-n-roll's heyday and a must for any radio industry professional.
This book was a gift for my brother-in-law who just loves it. It was difficult to find a new one because it has been out of print for so long. My brother-in-law says he is enjoying the book immensly.
This book had excellent pictures and described in great detail the Pacific NW Rock and Roll excellent bands! We were extremely fortunate to experience such talented musicians and terrific music. Miss these bands very much.
